things i hate

since i'm pmsing, i figure now is the perfect time to declare things i hate, pertaining mainly, but not only, fashion.

plaid. dressing like a man. ripped jeans. mini skirts. white nails. crappy weather. frizzy hair. looking like a hobo and calling it fashion. oversized jackets (not to be confused with oversized shirts). weird looking shoes. teensy bikinis. crop tops. overalls. christmas sweaters. doc martens. crocs. long skirts. goths. smoking. retardedly skinny girls. that whole bolero-jacket balmain fad. printed tights. granny sweaters.

i'm probably forgetting a bunch of stuff. you may call it unique and one of a kind; i call it STUPID.

i am focusing on  an advertising campaign for my fictional shoe brand, papango shoes. in case you didn't realize, i got papango from my two favorite fruits: papaya and mango.

okay, so at this point in my life, i am extraordinarily busy. it's like it'll never stop! so i'm sad to announce that i'm going on a temporary hiatus.. probably the next time i'll update is when my life stops being so darn hectic. i'll still be reading your blogs and commenting, i just won't be updating here.

a study of color.

the above image was a recent ap 2d assignment i had.. we could pretty much do whatever, so i chose to do a study of color on a self portrait. yes, i know its looking rather rough and i have to smooth out a few kinks here and there, but i'm overall pretty happy with it. i made this in adobe illustrator and completely vectorized the image of myself. i'm pretty happy with the end result.

and by the way, i swear if i see ONE MORE PERSON wearing crocs in public again, i will personally rip off their feet and they will no longer have the privilege to ever walk on this oh-so-beautiful Earth again. ever. and this definitely doesn't apply to children under the age of 6, because little kids + crocs = ADORABLE. 50 year olds + crocs = LOWLIFE. and teenager + crocs = i have no friends. the end.

and thanks for the sweet comments.. :) i'm still in an extraordinarily good mood, and i've been blasting jack johnson every day. i'm going to overplay his music to the extent that i'll never want to hear another jack johnson song ever again. :)

i need a toy soulllljaaaa

i have found a new favorite song, and its actually relatively old: toy soldier by britney spears. its from her blackout album, and if you haven't heard it, you definitely should because it is highly addictive. anywho, i don't know why, but i have been in an absolutely amazing mood lately... i'm happy for no reason, and there isn't a boy involved! its amazing. i'm curious to see how long this'll last... wom wom wom.

so todays an outfit post... yippppppppppy. and the colors are ridiculously distorted because my camera tends to take crappy pics. :(

okay, the reason for the babyface is because my face was looking rather disgusting in this picture (TRIPLE CHIN) and the baby's face is way cuter to look at. my hair was kinda flat too. oh well. and the forever 21 sweater was actually a deep plum color, and my jeans are a dark wash denim.

cruise post cruise post!

so i have finally taken the time to prepare some pics for you all from my cruise.. i had a pretty good time on there (even though the food was horrible). i was on the carnival splendor ship, and it was a pretty ship, but there wasn't much to do on there. please forgive me, but i didn't really dress my nicest, and when i actually did i didn't get it on film. :( especially in puerto rico, PLEASE forgive my outfit.. it was so touristy, but i blame it on my dad! :D so here we go!
